Hi - Introducing Talkingshell !

Hi !!

Well, this is my first post, so I guess I should introduce myself to who is Talkingshell...

I am sure you all probably know who I am, the deaf lady photographer of the Cedar Grove and District Riding Club Smile

Unlike most of you (I think anyway) I came from out west Queensland at Tara, and just love being around horses really. We had a palomino Brumby gelding, a bay Stockhorse mare, a black/bay StockhorseXArab mare and a Taffy StockhorseXArab mare. I did Stockwork mustering the cattle and sheep on a farm of my dad's.

Then eventually the farm had to be sold because our Grandma died and was working full-time for few years, had no horses till I was 21. Went to Dalson Park Indoor Riding Centre to have my fix, that is where I was 'hooked' on Dressage.

I have my old fella, Fox who is 26 who taught me to ride and went on to do medium and some advanced level dressage before he broke down. Then I got Middi who recently was put to sleep as you would have seen my post in 'Memory of' section. Middi was my next dressage horse but he had a fair share of problems in his life so retired him 4 years ago. Then I bought my cheeky boy, Cullen who is awaiting to be broken to saddle, I can't wait to finally get back to saddle again. I am sure I am going to be rusty to ride Razz

I also have one ginger moggie cat, named Ging, and 13 goldfish. Am married to non-horsey Hubby and our 2 beautiful kids!

Also there is my life story on My farm life and my love for Cleveland Bay horses. Even though it needs updating, not that I have time to do it.

Cheers,
Shell sunny
